red lining When I do laundry, I always color coordinate. Dave tries, but I'm the ultra-anal color coordinator when it comes to laundry. I hate pink pilly-balls on my black sweaters, or black fuzz on my white towels. Then in the summer, I always hang it on the line to conserve energy. Another anal thing. I don't even pay the electric bill. But the guilt factor makes me be conservation conscious. I would do it regardless. Save the Fuzzy Naveled Hoot Owl.

Cross processing: take a roll of slide film, take a whole bunch of pictures, take it to be developed BUT rather than developing the film into slides it is developed with the same chemistry you would use for c-41 color negatives. Simply put, you get slide film developed into pictures instead of slides. Not all photolabs will do this, and some will even lecture you about how trendy it is and how "only high school kids do that." Harumph. And it's also expensize. BUT the results are really worth it.

SuperSampler: a lomography camera with 4 panoramic lenses that take 4 pictures per frame. The resulting photo can then be uploaded to the lomography.com website where you can view it as a mini-movie. Tres coolio.

Pop9: a lomography camera with 9 lenses that take 9 pictures per frame. The resulting photo is very Warholian.

Lomo: the Russian Arms & Optical factory responsible for making the LOMO Kompakt Automat camera "with the ultimate goal of producing the largest quantity possible for the pleasure and glory of the Soviet population." It has now become something of a cult craze. Yours truly is now part of the believing flock.
